That's a big gap then... yeah exactly like u said, more aggressive than expected. Maybe if I get a few extra monies someday I'll swap to those on the taco.

fuck yes. Truck looks awesome Eric. That vinyl(?) on the bottom is sawwwweet

Yeah, I kind of want those new Coopers for my 4runner... Certainly don't NEED them at the moment though, and $$ is definitely a factor there as well.

Yep, vinyl on the tundra. Same on my 4runner, and on the previous Tacoma that got totaled last year too. For some reason I kind of think it looks the best on the Tundra though. Great for protecting the rocker from my tires throwing things up as well. I think once I color match my grille (in process of painting another now) and slap some black powder coat bumpers on the truck it should look absolutely perfect, IMO. Wheels did a huge transformation already.

Road noise is similar to other newer design MTs. Definitely hear them, but not unbearable on long trips.
Your Duratrac is quieter though, as to be expected from the less aggressive design. I would have preferred the Duratrac if they came in the right size for me (295/70/18)

Put a splitter on my air compressor for the train horn so I could have on board air. Going to float the river Saturday and gunna blow up the kayaks and tubes.

Thanks! I also had to move the horn to inside the bumper. No pictures of the install because I was without my phone. I'll take pictures when I take the bumper back off to have them powder coated

This got me to thinking and I went out and took measurements from the center of my hub to the fender.
    Front, both 24.5
    Rear, both 25.5
Front and bottom of side step, both 14.75
Rear and bottom of side step, both 15

    3.25 inches in front lift
    1.5 inches in the rear

To me the truck sits level when your measurements are the same height on your front and rear of the side steps. Mine is .25 inches lower at the front of the step.

I took a level and made sure my garage floor was level each way.
