Low 60's, perfect working weather!

 

Long meeting-filled day at work. Came home to a missing kitten…spent an hour looking for her. Then had to make dinner. Then my daughter got home and the kitten reappeared out of the woods…
Just sitting down to catch up and get ready for bed.

 

Glad the Kitteh returned. Lost pets are not a fun thing, especially if kids are involved.

Hope you slept well, but I doubt it, because I slept like I was dead last night.

 

Started some cold brew last night in the press. It turned out great this morning with some French vanilla. It’s going to be 92 here today, I’m good on hot beverages!

 

Nice. I miss iced coffee, but I think I'd pass on the French vanilla. Hazelnut might be a different story, though. 92* in March.... sounds like hell to me. Hope you stay cool.

 

My mom likes hazelnut, maybe because it’s sugar free, I hate it.

To each their own, right? I developed a fondness for it more than a decade ago working at a truck stop. Had an iced coffee machine/dispenser there, and I'd do a cup of ice filled 4/5ths with the hazelnut iced coffee. The last bit would be topped off with hot chocolate to raise the temp a touch and just add a little bit of the chocolate flavor. Heaven in a cup.

Not sure what Hamburger Hill is. Off road trail?

 

I didn’t start drinking coffee until kids, so I never got to deep into other flavors or drinks; even though momma bear is a barista. The nitro cold brew from bucks is pretty good though.

The Hill is exactly what it sounds like, a sunny hill filled with beach towels and as little amount of clothes as possible.

 

Real hazelnuts are amazing. Fake hazelnut flavor blows.

Yeah - this little one has been a challenge. She’s a sweet kitten when she wants to be, but she’s also got a very independent attitude. We’re just starting to introduce her to the outside (our cats are in/out animals) and she was definitely testing her boundaries.
Actually slept great. First night this week.
So, someone out there has a rough night.

Indoor/outdoor cats are the happiest, but any cat can be a jerk. I've never had a cat that didn't have the a$$hole streak in them somewhere.

Our oldest - Oscar - is chill and happy all the time. This weekend, my wife found a tick on his neck so she braced herself to hold onto him while I did the extraction (on all the other animals we have, this is never a fun ordeal).
He just laid there purring and making biscuits the whole time… he’s more like a dog that even our dogs are

 

Lol, nothing crazy but our cat Walter is kind of a dick. I just walk past him and he swipes at me out of nowhere. Or when my wife plays with him he will randomly scratch the fuck out of her.

That would be me. Kiddo had 102 fever last night. Wife took care of most of it but still woke up with the crying and giving of medicine every handful of hours.

 

Currently sitting at the tire shop waiting to get in. My tire was down to 20psi when I left for work - had to go back to the house and gas it up for the 25 mile drive in to town.

Mine was a Larry with a little bit of Karen mixed in. I’m assuming that something was attached to the staple and whipped around and scratched my bedside and took a small chunk of paint. Luckily all the scratches came out with some polish and wax but had to use some touch up paint on the chunk.

 

And we have a winner. Sorry to hear the kiddo is sick. Hope that passes quickly.
