I forgot to mention that this thread made me get some grocery store sushi for dinner. Hit the spot.

 

Was in Tri-cities today for a kiddo birthday party and happened to drive by their dealership and it looked pretty bare too. I know Parker Toyota just a few miles from me has about a quarter of the cars they used to.

 

Online vehicle shopping is the way. You can look nation wide and either fly or have it delivered. The major bonus is that you can restrict all communication to email, and that keeps everything in writing. Always talk in out the door prices, and call it good. So long as the OTD price makes you happy, who cares what fees they have written in?

 

Everyone is empty right now, such is life. Just need to find what she wants and then order it. That part will definitely be done online. The lack of inventory for test drives is the first hurdle to clear. Hopefully I can find a newer used vehicle to test.

 

Find a rental, maybe?

So I’m pretty sure my entire intestine is stained green……
I’m like 70% sure I didn’t have another cupcake yesterday, I looked at them but I don’t think I ever committed.

 

There’s another mountain behind the clouds to the left, but I got to watch fresh snow melt on my side job today. Not to hot, got windy as balls after high noon(az time, I don’t care what kind of light you save from time to time)
Being up in the foothills made it difficult to source parts, but after a few hiccups, got it going(original TStat had issues calling for heat)

 

Well, my plans for tomorrow have changed. I was going to do sushi and drive to town to test drive stuff. Sadly, I decided to play adult and pay off a loan. $5800 later I don't have the cushion for an unnecessary trip. Le sigh.

It's definitely a good thing, and helps the overall budget. While I agree that sushi would be an appropriate celebration, sushi requires the trip. Can't get it locally. Taking a big ol' bite outta the debt will feel good for longer than the sushi anyway!

Now is a good time to get rid of any debt. Even paying off loans with fixed rates frees up cash for helping with all this inflation.

So now the bigger question, what were you going to test drive?

 

Frontier, Ranger, Maverick, Broncos, Wranglers, Challengers, Chargers, stick shift Taco if they had one, and anything else that caught my fancy. No intention of buying, but the stealerships don't need to know that.

 

This is true. For now it let's me pay down other debt more quickly.

Well, if I was gonna burn gas I planned to get my money's worth and have some fun.

 

I used to do that for fun. It was great to try out all those different cars.

If we get another active user that doesn’t own a Tundra, we’ll have to rename this thread “Some Other Brands”
