Everything in my house is in a safe, including what I would need in the middle of the night. Would never take the risk of having something out of the safe with kids. I practice the codes often and how quickly I could draw them just in case.

I take my youngest (8) shooting quite a bit. He's very very well versed on firearm safety and do's / dont's in the event he sees one either (a) at the house (b) at a friends house. Granted, my .40 is in a L2 holster and he would not figure it out.

^This. Way more safe than a safe.

I was the same with my son, and he's the same with his kids. Taking the mystery out of it goes a long way to relieving them of the curiosity that could cause trouble. I made sure he shot things other than targets, too - - things that would break spectacularly, so the damage a gun could cause would be more visceral.

Agreed that’s how I was brought up and plan on doing the same with my kids. They just are not there yet. Just turned 3 and 4.

I was never around firearms growing up, so what do you think happened when my friend and I found his moms bf pistol? We picked it up. Shame on my mother for not exposing us to that. Fortunately, nothing came of it. My kids are around firearms, and know the dangers good and well with them - as they should

    Hell, I bought my 8yo a G44 (.22) for Xmas. He's shot that, my 9, 40, .22LR, and my AR.

Oh yeah, starting from a young age and conveying the seriousness is the way to go. The most important rules drilled into my head over and over and over as soon as I was old enough to hold a gun. Started shooting when I wasn't actually even big enough to hold it so dad held it for me and I pulled the trigger. Got my first grouse that way. Side note, it's a shame the year sticker doesn't stay the same color because it matches my accents :D

Just tried breaded veal for the first time. Honestly, a bit let down. Not a fan of the texture. Would prefer a chicken fried steak.

    Definitely, orange cranberry mule.

I actually had chicken fried steak for the first time on vacation in September and it was absolutely fantastic.

My money is on this guy trying to fluff posts to 50 to post something for sale. (Check his posts) Little does he know, certain sub-forums, like New Members don’t count. Also, I’m knocking him backdown when he finally hits 50

I only saw one post from him so far. Can't decide if it's fluff or not.

Silly guy, it's so weird that people do that. If someone is in such a hurry to sell stuff there is Craigslist and FB.

Just really depends. TW could be 2-3 hours Tundras- less than 1hr. 4R- few mins.
It all depends on the situation going on and what is happening. Lots of behind the scenes takes place a bit

Hopefully because you got a great night's sleep and you're well rested. N. Texas has had a few high-allergen days, and by 10p it's been hard for me to keep my eyes open. Upside is that I'm sleeping like a rock and waking up well rested before the alarm. Downside is sneezing all day and I can't think straight...
