Sleep schedule was all wonky this past week, so I'm hoping I can break that tonight. Lately been waking up between midnight and 12:30 and the falling asleep again at about 4. Trouble is, my alarm goes off at 4:45. I've stayed up late, went to bed early, worn out, amped up, and none of it changes the *ding!* wide awake at midnight.

 

Ditto. Think we are out of sync.

Everything seems out of sync this week actually.

At a conference in Tampa. Between time change (3 hours), conference events, after parties, and networking dinners, I don’t really know what time it is or really what day it is.

there was a time where I was acclimated to this. Then spring 2020 hit. It’s rough getting back into the rhythm

 

5am and I’ve already been awake for an hour. I’m going to be a zombie by noon

 

My fault. My hopes of good sleep were made a reality. I appreciate your sacrifice.

My good friend has a son in his first semester of post-graduate school up there right now. The kid's a Texan. He's just like a wet cat at the moment.

 

That's just Mother Nature making sure you get your work out.

 

It’s noon for me right now (in Tampa this week) and I am a zombie. Two nights in a row in bed at 2am and sleeping terribly in hotel rooms

 

Been there. Done that. Traveling east is always the worst.

 

Hotel sleep always sucks. Just not the same as home.

 

The trick is to find the comfortable spot between just enough drinks to get you to sleep in spite of the loud and recalcitrant children running up and down the halls, party girls yelling 'bitches this' and 'girlfriend that', and some guy that decides the hallway in front of your door is the place to have his meeting with the team in Europe that doesn't understand English; and just few enough that you can manage the hangover.

 

And what is your suggestion for us teetotalers that don't partake in the fire water?
