Oh crap, that’s chirp chirp chirp. Think I have a birds nest in the cabin air intake. Great

 

Hmm, no nest or anything in the cabin air intake. Guess I need to spend a weekend pulling stuff apart.

Anyone have a spare weekend to share? I’m out of spares until January

 

It’s a chirp/squeak sound that is completely random in frequency and duration. It happens when the truck is on or off. Even with the HVAC on or off.

I started hearing it about a week ago

 

I don't know how this post got 25 minutes old without someone writing 'just turn the stereo up'...

If it's birds or chipmunks, it's possible mama could try to feed them. Next time you have time for a beer, there are worse things to do than stare at your truck trying to find where they're getting in. Or borrow your neighbor's cat. Also, when I had a first gen, squirrels made their way all the way down to, well, the squirrel cage. Acorns tumbling around in the A/C blower sound like something expensive. I hope any of that is helpful.

I don't know on this one. Yeah, he's a moving violation, and he's gonna scratch my Tundra up if he drops one of those ladders in front of me. But that dude's going to work. On something that needs a hand-truck and ladders. I gotta go light on him.

Back on the day shifts this week. Got squat for sleep, but some Mtn. Dew Zero is helping with that. Actually feeling pretty good. That might change after a few hours. We'll see.

First day back after a five-day jaunt to Las Vegas. Staying positive so far. It is always nice to see no mandatory meetings when you have a backlog of email to get thru.

 

My team is usually pretty good about leaving me the fuck alone on the first day back from vacation.
I may have jumped a few of them too hard a time or two in the past for pestering me with petty shit when I got back that obviously wasn’t impossible to solve themselves while I gone…
