That’s true haha. I do have plans for the square after body work is done on the goat. Transmission first on order, then ima cut the entire roof out for a big old skylight, gunna get a canvas cover sewed up for it. I’ll build a frame to hold the canvas tight and mount snaps to the roof to fasten it. Should be a fun project. Been thinking about doing it for a few years now haha

 

I’m so tossed in the air on the body. I would like to eventually learn how to paint on that truck. I have so many things I need to do to it before paint it’s not even an option currently. My undies get about as wet as the truck wet it’s raining out, maybe a clear coat for a while before I delete the patina for ever. The body paint on that truck would be after like a frame off redo. Don’t hold your breath haha.

You could always do some training for painting on the GOAT. No risk if you mess up because you are going to line over it anyway.

Yeah, I'd love to be out camping too. We were planning a day trip somewhere and the weather is shot. Rain on this side of the mountains and cold and windy on the other side. We'll execute Plan B...just as soon as we can figure it out.

Hey, if it gives you the chance to play with some stuff with no major long term consequences, then it's a good thing. You might even be able to play with some of the paint while it's raining.....

Thanks. Yes my weld buddy welded the horse trailer out for me so I traded labour and bedlined his truck. It ended up looking real nice. I don’t have many pics, but by request, I filled rocker panel holes with spray foam and bondo’d them after. I’m talking a 12” long by 3” hole in the drivers side exit cab rocker. Came out pretty decent considering haha. Don’t have any before pics but this one.

 

Damn. You do really good work. You could open a shop for bed lining and sell custom bed racks on the side!

 

Thanks Adam. The bed lining is kind of my side gig right now actually. I have a few trades in the works. And a coup cash jobs lined up for this summer.

 

I should post this too. Here’s our horse trailer coated in quicksand liner. This the way the goat will look. But no chrome haha
