Well, now that we are supposed to wear masks or some form of cover while out in public, I've found a reason to use my @sdhq_offroad swag.

Is it just me, or are the days all just starting to blur together?

 

Yep. If my alarm goes off, I know I have to work. If it doesn't, it's the weekend. And 5:00 seems to come a little earlier each day.

 

Yeah. My schedule blurs badly. 7 on 7 off. Very blah when isolating.

 

Yes. Severely.

 

Seven days off while essentially confined to quarters would drive me crazy. I can't find enough to piddle with and the two things I need to do this spring, stain the deck and paint one of the sheds, I can't do while every tree is shedding something around the clock.

 

The DOD kicked it up a notch. We received this today. I can mostly work from home, but it's hard for my shipboard welders, electricians, etc to do the same. Mark Esper who signed it is the Secretary of Defense.

 

Yup. Everything here is snow and mud, so nothing to be done for the yard. Too cold for fishing, shooting, etc. I am reading a new book, doing laundry, and playing video games, but that only fills so much time.

And this is the first of my 7 night-shifts.

 

Ugh. So many good deals on so many things I want for the truck right now. I am probably going to stimulating TF out of the economy this month.

 

Tell you what, I'm ready to go home. Only 5 hours to go, but they aren't going fast enough. I am gonna sleep like I'm dead.

Edit: I cannot complain. I am thankful to have a job that isn't being shut down with everything that is going on.

 

All y'all be creepers. Come in here, read my stuff, like it, but never say anything.

 

Working nights is the worst! I'm glad I don't have to do it any more (*knocks on wood*). Not that I really had to do it that much in the past.

 

Currently up in NorCal helping my mom with some family things. Drove up in the Van but might leave with this

I have found that life is like a set of scales, but the scales are rigged so that balance is all but impossible. Seems like you can either have the personal life in order and going well, but you'll be financially boned, or else you've got the money side down and the personal side of things is a mess. As one side goes up, the other goes down.

Maybe a pendulum is a better way to look at it.

I don't have any offspring, so I am not up to date on Children's Literature.

 

I listen to more Zeppelin because of this forum than ever before in my life. The Tundra has changed my life in strange ways.
