Not much going on here. Slept well at least. Though I'm struggling to not go get coffee. Trying to do just water and it's boring.

13 degrees out so I can't wash the truck, can't paint the cup holder surround, etc. Just chilling at the house with the golf channel on TV.

Yea, could be. Also took of fender flares off a week or two ago, def diff in sun exposure and the rubber seal around had scratches at its attachment points.

That's one of the reasons that makes me hold off on fender flares. Though if I find some I really like I might just bedline the bottom portion of the truck and where the flares would sit. The flares would have to work with the @SCSPerformance Ray 10 wheels though. Those are nonnegotiable as the wheels.

 

My flares were on the truck. They were flush inside the fender area and didn’t stick out much so I’d think your wheels would work with most flares.
My Tundras seen lots of dirt n rocks n brush, and is pinstriped, far beyond it’s pavement princess roots, although I enjoy therapeutically cleaning after a run.

 

Definitely. It's a truck. Scratches happen. I've got a chip on the tailgate and one of my rear bumper caps is scratched from helping a coworker move. Life happens.

Bought my first brand new vehicle at 21, and within 6 months a buddy hit it, my sister backed into it, and it was hit and run. Year two it was hit and run twice more, and then just before I sold it it was hit and run again. All that stuff taught me not to sweat it or you'll go crazy.

 

Yeah for sure!! My time off-road wouldn’t be as fun as it’s been if I had been worrying about every scratch. Hell, I went over the edge and had to be pulled out and still got back on the trail. Good times!

 

Sounds like a blast, but I have to be careful. I'm an offroad noob and it's my only vehicle. That and I'm still stock.

 

Hahaha, yeah that’s why it’s a good idea to go with others who have gone before you and can help in any recovery or flat tire changing. You have a very capable rig!! I’ve been up steep mountain trails with a guy on spacer lift. He was careful and made it out fine!
