    I know right, odd thing is that in 1988 I came close to losing my left in a shooting incident, round ruptured in the chamber of a right handed bolt action rifle, I shoot lefty, all the pressure came back thru the action, blew out the extractor from the bolt, took part of the rim and rear of the case with it and out along side the bolt and receiver, took a piece of the barrel with it, where the barrel is threaded.

    long story short, the ;eft side of my face caught the blunt of everything had brass go thru my eyelid and right below my iris and into the eye almost passing thru, eye doc that did the following surgery said that piece of brass missed my optic nerve by a millimeter, had 7 stitches horizontal across the bottom of my left eye where he had to cut it open to fish out the brass and metal Still have small pieces of metal around the outer part of my left eye.

    Believe I still what remains of the rifle somewhere around here, if I come across it I will post pics.
