    Morning gang

Had a nice uneventful weekend. Changed the oil, mowed the yard and avoided seeing the Downton Abbey movie with my wife.
Hope you have a great start to the week.

Morning Dave. I got lucky. Her mom wanted to see it so they went on Saturday. I tried to talk them both into seeing Last Blood but no takers.

Having experience with a class A diesel pusher. I can tell you that all RVs are built by a bunch of high school kids. Makes no difference what size or shape you buy. It’s all about profit for these guys. There are very few RV manufacturers that build a good one.

As you mentioned Prevost being one of them. But those are built solid and built differently because those are a bus motor coach chassis.

My ex-in-laws has the diesel pusher, they spent close to $450k. They had problems left and right for minor crap, that could have been avoided at the factory. Their diesel motor had issues. Their first three years of ownership they only managed to put 10k miles on it. The rest of time it was getting fixed. Do they they enjoy it, yes, but I would have gone ape shit, dealing with the crap they had to fix.

On the other hand my best friend dad, retired and bought a Prevost. It was expensive as heck, I want to say about 1.2 million. Night and day difference between this and high end diesel pusher. Bus chassis versus the class A frame. Service on the Prevost is spectacular. They spent a week with them going over all the functions, maintenance with them. When they have a problem, they can to any bus repair facility and Prevost takes care of it. Another interesting thing driving down the road, they don’t get blown around by passing trucks.
