    For once in my life...I can honestly say I was pulled over and I didn't do anything wrong. I live right on the border of Nevada and California. Once or twice a month local Nevada Sheriff goes on a binge and pulls everyone over for the slightest thing wrong...if they have out of state plates. I have dealer paper plates, so I'm sure you can assume what happened next. I literally just left the DMV (which incidentally is upstairs from the Sheriff's office). Registration and new plates sitting in the passenger seat. Not even a warning or anything today. Just a "have a nice day" once he ran all my crap.

    Now had he pulled me over yesterday...it would have been a LOOOOONG list of violations :burnrubber:

    Typical jberry shit. Still need to order wheels and tires. Gonna have to :popcorn: for now.

    Yeah, I wasn't really that upset about it. I know how my local SO works. Most of the deputies know me pretty well by now because of the "other" Toyota. :anonymous:
    My temp plate was still in the front windshield and just picked up my permanents. No biggy. Quickest detainment ever. Just didn't expect it to happen 2 days after getting the new Tundra.
    And yeah, I got the residue off with just WD40. Works just as well when you're out of goo-off/goo-gone.

    Wife woke me up last night when she got home from work "My battery light is flashing on the Jeep, and it smells like it's burning"

    (Im silently hoping she parked it in the driveway and not the garage due to the 'burning' smell)

    ...I go downstairs and instantly detect the odor is down thing burning...gets stronger as I get to the garage (she got her butt chewed for bringing something that she thinks is burning in the garage and closes it)

    I pop the hood and don't detect any major heat...I found the alternator housing to be burnt to shit....asked her to move it to the driveway and OUT of the garage to get some fresh air...no interior lights / doesn't crank..."will it explode if i try to start it?" Lol...

    Got home from work and tested the battery (2 years old) came back zero...
    I pulled the battery and had Autozone replace it under warranty.

    Grabbed an alternator (lifetime warranty with it) for $189.

    Swapped both out and it's good to go!
