    Good evening Tundras!
    Woke up at 4:30 today and couldn’t get back to sleep so I got moving. Ran a bunch of errands. Wentto Dad’s nursing home and took care of some stuff. Washed the truck. Visited Dad in the hospital. He was alert so I spent extra time with him. Came home, picked up my wife and went to my daughter’s house. Had dinner there and got to spend time with her 3 boys. Had a great time! One of the boys decided that he was coming to our house for the night. Played some games with him. More fun! Fit in some loads of laundry in between. Finally got to relax for a while.
    I’m so pissed off at the hospital that Dad is in yet again. He failed his speech and swallow test a couple of days ago so they put a feeding tube in. He’s complaining that he’s hungry and thirsty. He won’t get another speech and swallow test until Monday because this hospital doesn’t staff that department during the weekend so he has to deal with the tube for at least 2 extra days. I’m calling BS on that! I have to find out how to contact the patient advocacy group and raise some hell. He’s been in this hospital several times and there are always issues. These hospitals try to pinch pennies as much as possible and the patients suffer because of it. OK, end of rant!

    Good evening tundras. Just got back home. Took my dad a new phone today and we went for a drive. Blazed a trail on some untouched back roads in about a foot of snow. Tundra did great. Saw lots of deer and even a bald eagle, which is rare around here. Tried to get a pic of bald eagle but it flew off as I was getting the camera focused.
