    Good morning!

We’re going to have us a nice little Saturday... stop by and look at plants for the back fense... let the kids hang out with their cousins... maybe get really crazy and head over to bed bath and beyond... I just don’t know if we’ll have the time!!!

Spent the morning cleaning 3yr olds kiddy pool and changing the oil in the Smart car. Before you laugh, 40 mpg, cost $5000 and had 38k miles on it. Offsets the Tundra getting 13.5. It's just a throw away work car. Nice to have a vehicle with no care for it. $25 of premium goes 380-400 miles.

Well if like mine from nine years ago, you can now get better quality/size for 1/2 price I paid nine years ago. I recently bought a house and furnished it. Gave my old 47" to my dad, paid 900 after discounts and employee hook up from sister. Bought two new 55" for price of old 47".

    ... with cleaner picture!

I’ve been slowly buying TVs to furnish the house every few years... tv tech changes so much every few years you can get killer deals on last gen tech if you time it right... got a 65” 1080p when the 4ks were coming out.

I think your eyeball is 10-12’ from the tv on our couch, so 4K wouldn’t have made a noticeable difference:

I haven’t done much research but it seems like there’s a demand for curved TVs so maybe around the next super bowl I’ll pick up a huge 4K for a good price :)

That's good consumerism right there. I bought the ones I have about when 4k came out so they were on sale. The only thing I care about is browser vs app based TV's, probably just me but, it seems app based programs don't work as well as the ones that are browser based. Plus I love being able to basically turn the TV into a computer at a moment's notice.

not many 4K content on live TV but it's coming. Final specs/standard still up in the air. I have a 4K HDR curved TV for work and it's nice. Also get an ATMOS sound bar for it.
the new thing is VR so expect more of that too.
