'Do you want me to dump all of this, or save it?'
Her, in the garage at my work bench (visible from where I'm at in the back yard), on which I've been cycling through my guns cleaning them
'What are you going to do with all of these old rags? They're a mess.'
Me: 'I still need them.' The pot?
Her:'It doesn't make sense that you'd need to keep these. This garage is a mess.'
Me: 'Only my workbench, and I'm not done cleaning guns. What do you want me to do with the soil here?'
Her:'I'm going to Calloway's later.'
Me: Honey! The pots! What am I doing here?
Her: 'I'm getting Vincas.'
Me:'I'm done here. Are you going to need back in the back yard, or should I lock the gate?'
Her: 'Seriously, there must be 10 dirty rags.'

The Woman, 1 day later: Kitchen looks like a gypsy camp despite me doing all the cooking and cleaning as I go; "This is because I take care of a toddler!"

Me: "Well, you know those daddy/daughter days where I kick you out of the house for a break, cook 3 meals plus snacks for both me and Little AK and still somehow manage to keep the kitchen clean and also clean the living room? How does that work?"

The Woman: "Shut up"

Me: "Time management and efficiency"

The Woman: "I said, shut up"

I’ve seen that too. I get a look of exhaustion when she’s done cooking after a big day…but I know she spent 2-3 hours sleeping on the couch and watching a stupid TV show earlier that day.

 

Don't forget all the phone browsing. That shit is exhausting.

Tonight getting gas at Costco. Each station has two pumps. The far pump is open and when that happens normally the next person drives around the person at the near pump. Not tonight. The ass hat in front of me is waiting. With his gas cap cover already open.

You open the lid early but then don’t drive to the open pump.

Why is the lid open? Why are you not driving around to the open pump? Your lid is open.
