Me: Does a full load of dishes in the dishwasher, washes most of the rest, puts it all away, counters are 99% clear.

The Woman, 1 day later: Kitchen looks like a gypsy camp despite me doing all the cooking and cleaning as I go; "This is because I take care of a toddler!"

Me: "Well, you know those daddy/daughter days where I kick you out of the house for a break, cook 3 meals plus snacks for both me and Little AK and still somehow manage to keep the kitchen clean and also clean the living room? How does that work?"

The Woman: "Shut up"

Me: "Time management and efficiency"

The Woman: "I said, shut up"

I’ve seen that too. I get a look of exhaustion when she’s done cooking after a big day…but I know she spent 2-3 hours sleeping on the couch and watching a stupid TV show earlier that day.

Tonight getting gas at Costco. Each station has two pumps. The far pump is open and when that happens normally the next person drives around the person at the near pump. Not tonight. The ass hat in front of me is waiting. With his gas cap cover already open.

You open the lid early but then don’t drive to the open pump.

Why is the lid open? Why are you not driving around to the open pump? Your lid is open.
