Anyhow, I was just going to suggest that whatever you paid, it was probably more than just coming out to the PNW and cutting your own out of downed trees waiting to be scavenged (which is $0)...

Y'all are weird. We haven't got to 80 many times this month. It's been usually cool, late October weather.
We'll be 90 Friday and Saturday. Back to normal for a couple of days. Then back to highs below 80. :(

Gross. Low 70s or high 60s would be much better.

According to the TV weather douches we are going to have a storm roll in and maybe only have a high in the upper 80s tomorrow. I don't believe them of course, hence the name weather douches.

These hot dry days in the PNW always suck. Hitting high 80’s to mid 90’s most every day.
The upside is all the food to gather and harvest!

Yeah, i admit i was talking a lot about my body. Not because i think i'm all that and a bag of chips, but just out of 100% genuine bewilderment why all of a sudden i'm getting attention now and not when i was younger. Like i'm almost borderline vexed about the situation because i can't understand it, and almost terrified that i could somehow become prideful because of it. I’m just trying to process it all and figure out what’s going on. I just really enjoy working out for my own personal benefit and always have (ex distance runner).

This is totally me..i got the physique of Christian Bale…

…not the CB from American psycho, but the CB from The Machinist.

FYI, I can't bench that much compared to pretty much most other guys at the gym i go to, nor can i squat as much, lat pull at much, ect, ect. Then again i’ve been kinda stuck at 158lbs for the past few years, but i have been able to bench press, squat, and leg press a bit more. It’s strange because both my body fat content and weight stay pretty much the exact same.

I was at the gym this morning and compliment a guy who was lifting super heavy on the leg squat machine. He went FULL squat too. His legs were literally the size of two mighty Lebanon Cedar trees. It was all VERY impressive feats of strength! We talked for about a minute (between sets). The guy was super humble.

The one funny thing at the gym this morning- the la fitness opens at 5am, i got there at 5:50am. I moved over the hip abductor machines (aka, the YES machine). Someone had left a tube of toothpaste and their toothbrush on the floor right next to the machine. All i could think is that there was a long night of passion and a morning of regret of whatever took place on that machine before i got to it. I made sure to wipe it down really well before i hopped in the saddle.

$300 is about a 1/3 of the price of a new Stihl 400 that i’ve been looking at for the past few years. I’m really thinking about picking one up sometime this month…

I always used to cut my own, split it with an axe, etc. It's just time catches up and I just can't do that shit anymore, so I take the easy way out and pay for it.

Hell yeah, for the first time in 50 years we don’t have a wood stove. Not cutting firewood, not splitting it, not splitting kindling, not storing piles on the porch for mice and rats, not cleaning chimney pipes, not getting soot, not getting ash dust, not finding dead birds in the stove, etc

now we have a propane fireplace! Flip the switch and instant clean heat with flickering flame!
