I did get some good sleep last night thanks. Somehow woke up 15min before my 4:45am alarm and was able to slow-boot the system.

Yep. First day back in 3 weeks. It is dark outside!

I have over 450+ emails waiting for me once my laptop stops cycling with mandatory updates…

Look, the intelligence level of this group exceeds that of the rest of the forum... However, with that being said, we have the attention span of a 2-year old. So, please post accordingly...

 

Haha I agree instant gratification is best for this group, I just find this stuff amazing and nerd out on it sometimes, my Dad worked his entire career as a mechanical engineer for Lockheed Martin so I grew up around lots of this type stuff and traveling to watch all of the rockets and space shuttles launch sending the projects he worked on into space.

 

It’s nice to know my sleep donation made a difference to someone somewhere. It was way too hot to get any decent sort of sleep in my place.

 

I thought the video was fine. It actually shared some stuff on the heliosphere I found incredibly interesting, along with the soupy nature of outer space.

I just wish it didn’t have the clickbaity title and thumbnail. There was enough in that video that it didn’t need to resort to those sort of tactics.

But that’s just me pissing and moaning about media in general. Everything HAS to be groundbreaking and shocking or no one will tune in.

 

Speaking about nerding out, back in the day, space shuttles and inappropriate dad jokes...

It's funny how every time I'm floating around the forum and try to actually help someone out w/an issue, it turns into drama...

Yet, if I just 'stay in my lane' and post some B.S. here and there, I have no issues!!!

Dang, I spent some time away from my phone with the wife yesterday and I missed a lot of great discussion on marriage.

I’m still married , May 2026 will be 30. She puts up with me, that’s our secret. Common critical thinking also helps a lot.

I told her about my speedo garden cam idea and she actually thought it could work and she’d help.
