Twisp is cool. I prefer Winthrop or Mazama, a little higher elevation and more trees.
    Have you been?

I’m always glad to hear from anyone and everyone that has been using my knives. I always try to put a lot of myself into the work.
The wife thing is definitely different for everyone. If my queen wasn’t willing to join with me in sacrificing for years we wouldn’t be able to have what we have now. It’s not much, but we own it. We grow a lot of our food and we’re both so tight that we squeak when we walk, lol. Many people asked me through the years how we made it and I explained how if you or your wife have to have stuff to be happy it’s a trap.
Don’t buy stuff that requires payments, no washing machine, no furniture, no appliances etc, nothing. Most women don’t have the backbone to live that way. I was lucky.

My sleep is trash this week. I've not been able to sleep more than a couple hours at night, but crater in the early morning and wind up sleeping until noon or later.

I work at 6 AM on Wednesday. Gonna be a rough week if I cannot correct this.

A little late to the party, but been married just about a year and a half and still extremely happy with my decision. We had our oldest daughter before we were married, so we never got the just the two of us newlyweds era, but I'm just fine with that. Having our family be one unit has been awesome, and since we're still young (both 31) we get to sneak out when parents come to visit and babysit and do all sorts of fun stuff around that keeps it fresh.

@PolishedTRD congrats on expecting! If I recall you're in CR, we had both our daughters at CR Adventist in the Meadows, absolutely outstanding facility. I can't say enough good things about how friendly the staff are and the restaurant just below the maternity word is one of the best in town. They even give you a bundt cake and take-n-bake pizza when you leave, worth every dollar.

Cinnamon is good. So why not just call it cinnamon something or other?!? HTF do you get from Cinnamon to Baby Batter?

    Probably not my demo.

Not sure what goes into the process....I might not want to know.
The rest of it...couldn't tell you. I hadn't heard of this stuff before yesterday.

I am kinda intrigued on the other flavors. Just the name on this one caught me off guard.

True. It's the Belgian strong ales - dubbel, trippel and quadruppel - that you really want to try.
