because I think that’s what you are sayin’

And, yes, I’m sayin’ ain’t no way the kooky Egyptians built them

you can see the ones they built, they look like KB Homes built them.

Yes, I’m guilty of watching those home inspection videos on YouTube

    Truth be told

this is a blind spot for me

I’ve always been married to a wonderful gal.

I think the world is flat when it comes to crazy divorce/girlfriend stories

I try to avoid chaos at all costs.

some folks just run towards it, which always ends poorly.

My beef with those two guys...well mostly Beavis, is that since i didn't have cable TV growing up i would have to go to a friend's house to watch MTV. Seemed like Beavis and Butthead were always on there. My problem with the two of them was that i wanted to watch the music videos, and Beavis would always be interrupting with his ticks and banter. I'd be like, shut up...Beavis, i'm trying to watch music videos.

    A few observations.

    Hershey is not fancy.

    Topo-Chico. Not Topa.

Also not worth a dime, never the less what ever it is you're paying for them.

Beavis and butt head was how MTV promoted the fact that they weren't playing music videos anymore. And it was actually quite genius.

Powerball drawing is tonight. The jackpot has increased to an eye watering $1,100,000,000...

I can only dream of the stable of voodoo blue TRD Pro Tundras that would get me. Along with a Porsche GT3 in voodoo blue, a 200 series Land Cruiser I would get repainted in voodoo blue...

Not to mention the annual Tundras live crew grilled meat festival, where we can dunk @Azblue into a tank full of Miller Lite...

    This is a win.
I was in Dallas for training several years ago and this place was the shit.

Also, there was a giant gas station with some really good BBQ that was awesome. Somewhere between Dallas and Fort Worth.

This is so true. Some people are incapable of learning from a mistake and that perplexes me to no end. Especially when you see them lining up for another run…

My first marriage ended within a year. I was 25 and thought committing to marriage would fix all of our problems. It did not.

I didn't remarry til I found what you were talking about. I didn't even seriously date women because I was fearful of commitment and being vulnerable.

Then I found my wife. Or, maybe she found me?

Took her and her children as my own. Best decision I ever made.

    Zero ragerts.

To expunge a little further on this topic I was at a friends wedding while I was single. His dad gave his speech. In it, he went on and on about how much work a relationship is. I never believed in this. If a relationship takes so much work, that's a huge sign for the people in it to realize that you can't put a square peg in a round hole.

I knew I could find a woman who loved me for me, and didn't need to change me or mold me. I knew I wasn't willing to settle.

So I lived a single life for almost 2 decades. Waiting for my square hole to come to fruition. If it never materialized, I was also okay with that. Well it did. And not only did I get one, but three women who love me for who I am.

TLDR; Blessed be the hermit that is patient.

There were no happy marriages in my family. My parents, God rest their souls, constantly argued as we never had any money. It wasn't a happy house to grow up in. Both my older brothers cheated on their wives, no idea why as we weren't raised that way. Both their wives are amazing women.

I never wanted kids as I'm just not that sort of person. I had a couple of serious relationships in my late 20's & early 30's that were as close as I ever got. After age 35, I accepted that the marriage ship had sailed. At 44 I want nothing to do with someone else's bullshit in my life.

I respect those folks who have been married for 30+ years and are still happy. I had enough sense to know that wasn't in the cards for me and never forced myself to conform to that life. I received a lot of pressure from family and friends to get married as I had a solid career making good money. Just wasn't for me.

I also totally blame myself as I am attracted to bitchy fiery women. The kind that will set your car on fire cause you didn't return their call...

I was never programmed for the whole "must marry and have kids" mantra, but it happened and I love it. There are health benefits to having a life partner but the whole "get married" is an outdated way of thinking. I swear when people tell others they should get married, have kids, settle down, etc., it's more about them wanting someone else to commiserate with...the whole "misery loves company" thing. Phuk that...be you and be happy; whatever form that takes.
