    see, in houston, an EV was perfect for the wife

    and when we got tired of getting into/ out of our model s, we shopped for an suv

    any suv

    we shopped all the suvs

    the best choice, at the best price was a Tesla model x

    it had more room than the Lexus lx600 and it was $30k cheaper

    caveats:
    We charge at home
    The wife uses it to toodle around town
    We rarely travel and when we do, our routes have superchargers

    and for the record- we filled from 18% to 100% in about 18 minutes on the new Tesla chargers at buccees.

    see, all these caveats are necessary

    if any one of them was missing, we’d have bought an ICE


    Are ev’s for everyone…..nope

    buy one if you want one. Simple as that

    I mentioned this in another thread- if Tesla could figure out how to get apartment dwellers to home charge, that would be huge




    And, I stop light raced a c8 corvette Grand sport and it was comical how slow it was.
