    Fireworks on New Years Eve is the norm in Alaska. Not on the 4th of July. Sun won't even set until around midnight in Anchorage now. Not at all further up north.. Most folks up there are catching salmon right about now.

    Dog slept on the floor next to our bed last night, so I got some decent sleep. Have almost kicked this head cold (day 9), but wife is still a fee days behind and daughter is now sick.

    Just got breakfast delivered and watching F1 Qualifying in bed. Next stop is to fuel the truck. Very thankful :rolleyes: I forgot to fill up before the July 1 tax increase.

    Diesel is about 30 cents more than gas, but Costco is the cheapest by far. Local gas stations have diesel at/above $5/gal now

    Yeah, I forgot you had an oil burner. Seeing that $120+ fill up reminds me of a few years ago. That was fun towing our travel trailer up mountains going to Tundras to Sedona getting 7-8 mpg. :eek:
