When our youngest was born, we put latches on all of the lower cabinets. The kind you have to reach in to release. When she started walking, we found out that she could open them faster than we could.

I believe it. Next you have to try it in the Forrest with no buildings around. It's rejuvenating for the soul to be outside in a storm and just sitting through it.

It used to be pretty therapeutic for me as well until all of the storms that have been rolling in lately started to have tornado warnings. I didn't even know that we had tornado sirens until this rainy season down here. The storms have been a lot harsher lately.

Went to my local Tractor Supply this morning. A forklift was unloading a pallet of barrel planters. Walked up and asked if they were Chinesium knock offs. Semi driver said.. "nope, straight from Lynchburg." I said, "that Lynchburg?" Driver..."Yep." Snagged two before gonzo. Smells like JD! Charcoaled!

 

$48 each. Score!

 

So my son sends a pic of the UW husky mascot he saw on campus today to our family text: We all love dogs, so we start laughing at the fluff ball…then the wife drops:
