Years for sure. This summer I really let it become way to common to drink. Hence my reason for changing my habit. I thought I would crave it more but I honestly don't. Initial goal was to take off until Dec 31 then drink causally from time to time. Although, I'm not sure I even want to start again.

 

Even if you do, you'll be more aware if you should take another break

Has to be the right kind of pizza, and sadly that's died off where I live. When I was in school the local pizza hut had a student lunch special where you got a couple slices of pan pepperoni, and (you'd be proud @T-Rex266 ) I'd eat it with a fork and dip it in a cup of ranch. Haven't done ranch on anything but a salad in probably 20 years.

How are you feeling after 28 days? Sleeping better, more energy, less brainfog? Congrats on making it that far.

I'm going to be a bit controversial here but I don't really like overly sweet, processed carb type stuff for breakfast. So no pancakes, waffles, french toast, cereal or anything else along those lines. I prefer more savory protein rich items like eggs, bacon, sausage, spicy linguica, country potatoes and use salsa and hot sauce as needed.

Protein heavy breakfasts usually have me feeling lighter on my feet and satiate my hunger up until dinner most days.

I agree. I haven't had pancakes for over around 6 months. It's not often that I eat them, as it's just a load of carbs. I much prefer a breakfast scramble with eggs, meat, and cheese. I'll use some La Victoria mild taco sauce (less sweet ketchup basically) if I am putting it in a tortilla. If not going in a tortilla I like to have some potatoes O'Brien either on the side or mixed in the scramble.

Yes, but no knife. I DESPISE double dipping, so the only way to eat a slice of pizza and dip it in a cup of ranch without double dipping is to use a fork.

Terrible pizza is relative. Local pizza hut used to make the dough in house. My first job was working there during HS, so I learned all that stuff. Now it's all trash premade frozen garbage.

Ranch is an easy pitfall to fall into. You can literally drown most things in ranch and have it be edible. It becomes a slippery slope from there and you need to have a "ranch intervention" with some folks.
