Apparently I'm in the minority. But soft cookies are no where near as good as a crispy cookie.

This right here. The majority of fast food is awful. And meat pressed into the shape of rib bones is just gross. I think I had one of these as a child and have never felt inclined to try it again. TBH it's probably been some 20 odd years since I've eaten at Ronald's.

    man, look here.

I still have the FIRST Sony disc-changer up in my garage.
AudioControl EQ's & Crossovers (all analog)
    Rockford & Orion competition amps
get this...I still use a pair of ~1990 JL W3 15" subs for the garage gym. still kickin'

    I kinda/sorta miss those days.

imagine, back then, if we had:
    $200 1000watt amps
phones that had 8000 songs on them.
    3" excursion subs

    we'd all be dead.

This is a Christmas present! Brock Purdy to his o-line.

Boys, wanna say ‘Merry Christmas.’ Got some gifts for you guys, sorry for the wait,” he said as he walked in to where the other players had been sitting. With smiles on everyone’s faces, he led them outside to “five Sequoias” and “five Tundras” from Toyota for them to pick from.

Tate's bake shop is in the Hampton's, and a person used to only be able to source their outstanding cookies from them directly. I had a native New Yorker friend who would bring them home every time he went home. Then Tate's joined the corporate world when the OG founder (Kathleen King) sold for $500 mil and the buyers began mass producing their items and started stocking them in grocery stores nationwide. They make a delicious thin crispy cookie that in my opinion is one of the best cookies made outside of buying one directly from a bakery. Check your local grocer, I would assume they stock them. According to their website they are available at H.E.B. Stores. Original chocolate chip and salted caramel are my go to favorites.

Been traveling through Oregon since last Friday. Gotta say, it is difficult to catch up on this thread when you fall behind! Still working on it, but I'm going to just drop in real quick and share something with you SOBs...

Just had my Soberthday, as the wife likes to call it. Yesterday marks 15 years of sobriety - I literally found God and begged for a new life, promising to never return to my old one. That might not resonate well with some, but when you reach a point and know that if you take another step in the same direction you've been going, that it might be your last, you tend to hold onto whatever it is that leads you to safety.

I don't know why so many of my friends lost their lives battling their demons, and why I was spared, but I'll take it as a reason to yell out that there is hope if you feel lost! By no means do I want to stand up on a soapbox and preach - I just hope someone out there who is struggling knows that they aren't alone and there is a way out.

On a lighter note, every year since I've been married, my wife feels the need to give me a Soberthday gift. This year it's a trophy for my desk.
It's a reference to The Office (Dundee) and Arrested Development

Heck yeah brother! That's something worth celebrating.

Since I started wearing a Garmin watch and tracking my sleep, my desire to have more than one drink every other week (at most) has all but vanished. The correlation between alcohol consumption and poor sleep/lack of recovery/loss of fitness is mind blowing. And the correlation between low sleep quality and Alzheimer's and dementia on top of that does it in for me. Then there's my 97 year old grandfather who still smokes and drinks like he's 25 and is as sharp as ever so who the fuck knows.

Does anyone else in here really struggle to stay hydrated during the winter? I'm just never thirsty during the winter and I have to make a conscious effort to drink water.

Whatever this forum told me to do
put some type of sodium (electrolytes)in your water.

it will hydrate you more better.

LMNT drink mix is probably the best out there right now.

During the week I am good; have a 32oz bottle that I drink from lunch until I leave work. But weekends are more difficult for me to remember.

My girl was buying lmnt, tastes awful to me. Whatever flavour it is, insert the word “salted” infront of it and that is what it tastes like.
I like the Nuun tablets, honestly enjoy the taste and they do not foul up water bottles/bladders even when i have forgotten to clean then for a week.

I'm rarely "thirsty," but I do have to constantly remind myself to drink water the majority of the time. I attempt for 100-120 oz per day.
