    I bought something similar from Buc-ee’s while on a road trip. AWFUL.

    It is very difficult to find any kind of protein-rich snack food that doesn’t have a bunch of added sugar and/or crap I can’t pronounce.

    Especially on the road. Gotta plan accordingly. Buy some Biltong, raw almonds, or Rx bars. Or make your own jerky.
