I can't speak for everyone but it seems to be a common thing among folks who quit drinking that having only 1 drink was damn near impossible. I know it was for me. To be perfectly honest, it made no sense for me to drink if I was only having just 1.

Yup, that was my mindset. You drink to get drunk. Sure some beverages taste good but to be perfectly honest, without the alcohol in it, I'm not touching it. I basically drink only water, unsweetened tea and the occasional energy drink when I am dragging ass. Even the energy drinks are cloyingly and artificially sweet and not my favorite.

 

Not unless it involves fitness taco in her mouth.

 

She drinks ipas
She makes fun of people in crocs
However, she does hike in chacos
She doesn't shoot rifles much but is pretty damn accurate with her .40

 

I can't be the only one that saw this

 

You should teach a sensitivity training class on how to be less sensitive

I can never have more than 2 and 1 is just fine for me.

 

I mean this literality. Good for you! You are a rare breed on this one, at least in my circle of contacts. I know less than a handful of people who are this way versus the stadium of people the other way.

 

We celebrate the weird here…

 

My current team does a weekly team meeting with a set rotating monthly agenda by week. We take turns hosting the meeting for a month at a time. People who have been on the team for years, attending the meeting every week and hosting at least once a year still apparently have no idea what the agenda is or how to prep and host.

 

If people in virtual meetings still cannot remember to turn off mute before talking, or to check their mute while driving, there’s no hope for more technical tasks…

 

Microsoft pushed an update to Teams this week and now the mute button on my headset doesn't work any more.
