I do assume people know when to say when. If I drink too much liquor I get sloppy. So I don't drink liqour often. Maybe a few drinks at most over a long period of time to keep myself in check. I refuse to not accept accountability for my actions because I can blame them on drinking. If one can't handle their drink then they need to be aware of that and manage it. If people can't handle themselves while having drinks I guess that's why I call them idiots.

No, and he's killed more people than you too. LOL

I have an EXTREMELY low tolerance for what booze does, and if it's somebody I know well it's very obvious and irritating.

Likewise, but needed is the key. If the Steelers are showing some hard suck on a Sunday the pace may increase. But then I'm in bed by 8.

As long as we know that alcoholism is not symptom, but a disease.

Many in my family are alcoholics to the degree that they can not push the bottle away. The bottle cap is useless.

I'm a clinical alcoholic, according to the medical industry, but I don't have a problem leaving the bottle for another day.

Plus, the hangovers are too painfully and I don't have time to nurse a hangover the next day.

Nope. Not a disease. Will never accept that. It's a choice to start. Genes and personality may make it harder for some, but that first drink that starts the path to alcoholism is 1000% a choice. Alcoholics are not victims. They made bad choices.

While we are on this topic I think we can all agree that not all alcohol is created equally, and different results may apply individually. As an expert, and sometimes a victim of my own circumstances, I stay away from elixirs that cause fury and destruction in the end. My favorites include whiskey and the all time favorite of destruction, Sambuca. :anonymous:

Whatever this forum told me to do
    I appreciate this stance.

I think we have the same notion, but coming at it from a different point of view - or life experience.

my issue = you can't become someone you are not. If I lower your inhibitions, you become who you are hiding (the mask).

some of us, don't have much of a mask, and become jovial and fun. I get sleepy.

some get angry, divisive, argumentative or <the worst ones> become super manly and aggressive.

    some start wanting attention (girls).

regardless...all of us keep some shit hidden deep. Humans do that. Maturity keeps it hidden.
Alcohol loosens that up & sometimes allows it to come out. <it was in you>

I think the trick to drinking is to have already sorted yourself out.

Now, lather in social media(SM). and the mess gets exponentially worse.

SM teaches/programs folks that they are special. and that's a heavy mask to wear. splash some alcohol on that fire. and you become who you think you are.

I am not, by any means, disparaging drinking alcohol.

I AM disparaging folks that can't keep their shit together when they do imbibe.

see...I did all that without including the word --> IPA .

    This.

the folks that change the most, while drinking, are the ones that have the biggest mask.

    they are deeply conflicted.

Pistol or rifle? I own a 457 Varmint .22lr, and love it. They stopped making the 455 before I bought it, or I'd have one of those. For target guns the 455 was second to only Anschutz in accuracy. The 457 can give me <1 MOA groups (depending on the day, and me, <.5 MOA) at 100 yards with high velocity rounds.

The last 10 years have seen a lot of accuracy improvements across brands and calibers. CZ used to stand out, and I guess they still do. Good luck.
