I have a few friends in law enforcement. They always hate that sentiment with the public. And honestly I'm not sure why. We just paid a tax increase to fund a new department headquarters in my town so it's not like it far from the truth.

I think it already has caught up to us. And we’re so embedded in it, we just think it’s normal. Half of Americans are pre-diabetic. Heart disease everywhere. There is a push to approve ozempic for 12 year olds. We are a nation of low-T, low-nutrient, sedentary people. Most developed nations outlaw the poisons our food is made of.

All of the incentives are wrong.

• Food industry is incentivized to make (not grow) food with hyperpalatable flavor. (And guess which companies that previously marketed a highly addictive product helped create these foods? If you guessed the tobacco industry, you’re onto something…)
• Medical/pharma industry is incentivized by vaccine schedules and prescribing drugs and billing insurance an obnoxious (and unknown to you) amount of money. Think “lifetime subscription”. It’s the Netflix revenue model applied to your human body. They are incentivized to making you feel better but also to leave you with the condition that requires you to keep paying them.

Though I agree with much, THIS is a slippery slope. Look at other things they outlaw, or allow/promote.

 

I live in VA, 30 miles S of DC. I’m on city water that’s “safe”. I installed 2 20” big blue filters. 1st is a sediment filter, 2nd is carbon filter, I change them every 6 months. This is what they look like with city water.
