I second that. I don't have one in any vehicle and thinking that is on the short list. I hate cords that I can see which is why I haven't done it yet.

 

Hoping the pup is okay, since I'm sure he got thrown the hardest. He was easily doing 30+ when he nailed that car.
Anyway, this is the shit that can happen when you simply zone out for 2-3 seconds, let alone if you're playing with your phone. Which can be as simple as peeking at your nav for 2 seconds, changing a song, adjusting the climate control, etc.
I brought it up in a thread about playing with the radio while driving and probably hurt a few feelings. But this is a perfect example of how you can fuck up a handful of peoples' lives just by not paying attention for 2 seconds.

 

Keep it up, and you're gonna walk out to your truck one frosty morning, find out it won't start, pop the hood and BAM!!! I'm right there with a hot chocolate, set of jumper cables and a big giant good morning hug!!!

The good thing is that since it wasn't your fault, you should be covered for a rental for the duration and not be subject to most of the ins 30 day or $$ threshold limits....

Payload doesn't matter when it's in the shop getting the motor replaced; or a turbo replaced; or tracking down some weird wind noise; or fixing the passenger side mirror that randomly fell off; or doing some paint correction; or fixing the sun-burnt back seat backing; or the water leak fixed; ughhh my fingers hurt!!!
