    Check the build link in my signature.
    I’ve seen it on pulp lines that hammer a lot. But on a refinery line lots of hammer is usually designed out of the system in earnest.

    we did have a reactor line once at a client that was mis-spec’d for the wrong material and ended up eating through in about 9 months that required a hell of a quick TA to get fixed. Pretty sure a few engineers lost their license over that one.

    Yes. I dislike it here as well.
    It usually takes us another month or so before it's 27 in the morning. While we wait for freezing temps to arrive, we are provided with rainy 40s-50s to enjoy.
    Not really a fan of winter and cold anymore. Too old for that shit. However, I hate 40s and rain a lot more.
    If it were up to me and I was stuck with winter, I'd have it transition right from 60s and sunny, right to cold for a few months, then right back to 60s and sunny in spring.
    Skip this whole miserable transition period.

    We were in a frost warning yesterday morning. I will say, it’s been nice mowing the front and back and only coming out with about a 1/2 full bag of clippings. Next year I am removing the sod in the back, and going with a good artificial one. I am tired of mowing the back during the summer, and with three dogs it makes it a pain in the ass to keep up with.
