I'm not a morning person. My brain is pretty foggy for a good hour after I get up.
However, that's usually the time of day when I have moments of clarity, epiphany, realization, etc.
Sounds contradictory, I know. My theory is that my brain is on auto pilot when I first wake up. Just the bare minimum functions. Only processing the necessary data and environmental input. My head hasn't been filled with the nonsense of the day yet.
I see everything in a black and white sort of way.
Anyway, that said,.......
People are really fuckin stupid.

 

And BTW I don't say things like that because I think I'm smarter/better whatever.
I consider myself average intelligence and as much of a fuckup as should be expected from the average person. Sometimes more.
But my god,...the bar is so dam low for everyone,.....how do people make it through their daily life? I'm surprised most people don't drown when it rains. I expect gov to start posting signs: "do not look up during rain".

I watched an entire John Wayne flick the other day (yesterday?).
I don't usually watch old westerns, or old anything. At least not more than a minute or 2. I think it was called the shootist.
Anyway, the acting and special effects were terrible, as per usual, but there were a few good one liners.
"To put it in a nutshell......."
JW: (interrupts)......."a nutshell? You couldn't put it in a barrel without a bottom!"

 

The Shootist was his last film, and it is a classic. Excellent film.

 

Want to give some examples of stupidity that occur to you in the morning?

 

Yeah every morning but I typically browse 1st gen only where everyone is actually superior. No dummies only degens..

A small example: I walked into work this morning and as I passed a room, I heard a small group of people discussing politics.
The stuff coming out of their mouths was just soooooo stupid. It had nothing to do with one side or another, or agreeing/disagreeing with them. It just sounded like chimps discussing brain surgery. I mean, they sounded like, if their IQ dropped one more point, they'd be in a coma. And these weren't kids.
It's fine though. They'll spend the day doing mindless tasks, then their car will get them home safely and then they'll watch TV and cram their face holes with processed food and pharmaceuticals until they pass out, then do it all again tomorrow. They'll never have to solve a problem or understand much of anything, for that matter. They'll all spend 70+ yrs on this planet, shitting in a river.
There's a population problem. But they'll never do anything about it because of how much money is made on shoving products down everyone's gullet.
I think a combo of crop dusting with birth control and bringing back a few natural predators, like the cave bear, etc, would help.
But they won't listen.

All kidding aside though, we are gonna have to have a serious discussion about this at some point. At least I'm already working on solutions.
Wait till we hit 10, 15, 20 billion humans.
Then everyone will be like,....that crazy asshole was right.

 

I will say, it was pretty good.

 

Tsunamis, earthquakes, and plagues do a fairly decent job of population control. Also, the entirety of the human race could stand shoulder to shoulder in less than 5,000 square miles. There's plenty of space and resources if we aren't stupid about it.... but stupid is kind of the norm.

Said it before, and I'll say it again. The latest "plague" was a disappointment.
