We've had hail today. No garage. However, only about pea sized. It came down hard and that's actually what woke me.

 

It was the facial tattoos and gold front teeth that landed me the job. The six o'clock news will never be the same again.

 

One of the best movies ever! Daughter wants to watch it so that’s happening this weekend.

 

We drove through large pea sized hail yesterday. I was sweating bullets, looking for a gas station canopy to pull into.

 

The true Happy Camper. Even sitting by the side of the house, Roscoe loves being in the trailer.

 

I need to meet Roscoe one of these days, I think we would get along.

 

Sounds like a plan. Roscoe loves other dogs (and humans), so hopefully your labs are friendly.

 

Yep, she's a old sweetheart. The younger one is a terrier mix, pretty chill.

 

I’m still pondering my plans. Just sold something on OfferUp, so feeling accomplished already.

Installed a new water pump on the trailer yesterday, plus got the holding tank sanitized and gear organized. Still getting sap and cottonwood off all the trees, so not sure I want to pull off the cover yet to wash and wax.

Still need a second layer of wax on the truck, but the trees are discouraging that plan too. Grrr. Think I need to let my OCD go for this year…

So probably cleaning my garage and some other paperwork-type things today.

 

I guess even Teslas aren't invincible.

 

Lol. AWD does not trump weight and lower ground clearance.

 

Or the batteries ran out.

 

Fired up the weed eater to try and trim back the jungle that this super wet spring has created. Damn thing is running like shit. Can't cut anything, and I don't have anywhere to tear it apart. Not sure I know how anymore as it's been over a decade since I messed with a small engine.

Everything this year seems to be conspiring to make simple tasks difficult. Really considering getting ahold of a local landscape place to get the yard in order.

 

Or felt the sink coming and floored it…four wheel dig.

 

I feel you. We had a very late spring this year and that loss of two months to get the yard and various chores done is a lost cause

 

It's just been raining the last couple months on any day I've had the time to mow/trim, so now it's too much for the mower.

 

Are you watching the first on to set the scene, or skipping right to Aliens?

 

Trailer tires passed a visual inspection. No cracks, cuts, bubbles or anything even slightly suspicious. Dang it, I wanna buy new tires. Next year.

Same for my winter cover…other than a bit of grime from 4 winters no tears or anything. Dang it x2.

Guess I’m in need of some retail therapy…

 

Dunno… probably skipping. The 2nd movie is miles ahead of any other in the series IMO and can be watched without the context of the first movie.

 

Trailer finished. Didn’t need a wash, so will to that and the wax in a month or two. Otherwise ready to rock. I felt like taking off, finding @NWPirate and kicking one of his neighbors out. I’m ready for the bonfire-n-beer season.

Cleaned up the front yard, fixed the watering system and got the garage 80% clean. My leaf blower just kicked up a storm of pollen and crap, so my allergies are spiking. Time for a cold shower, a beverage and the beauty of an A/C house.

 

Well, a tune up kit on the echo trimmer will take a week and I'm done waiting. Just bought an electric E-Go trimmer. I hope it works well.
