@T-Rex266 I suspect this prank would have been funnier if you hadn't tipped your hand with the giant lizard a while back.

But there is a small number of us that even saw that when he did. By far the majority are all asking WTF?

    1. Dice up 7-8 pieces of salami and one jalapeño.
    2. Cook the salami until the oils start flowing, then add the jalapeño. Cook until everything is happy and the salami is getting crispy. Set aside in a small bowl to fester and get happy.
    3. Chop up a scallion (or three) and a handful of cilantro.
    4. Add a bit of butter to a warm pan and cook hash browns until a crispy brown. Pepper liberally...no salt
    5. Toss in the jalapeño/salami and mix just as the hash browns are getting done.
    6. Add the cilantro and scallions at the end. Toss and set aside. Make it snow on top with an ample amount of parmesan (or similar nutty/salty cheese). This is why you don't salt in step 4.
    7. Cook 3 eggs (cuz Costco eggs are small) over easy. Ideally with lots of butter in the pan, some pepper and fennel salt (it's a game changer).
    8. Shovel into face hole.

Do you start with frozen hash browns?
And where do you get fennel salt?

I'll have a few pictures up at some point today but for having a day off from work I sure have been busy lol. Earlier when I said I got stuck that was taking my mom's friend to work and now I've been helping my grandpa and I've already had to pull his Jeep out twice while he's plowing lol

We get the dehydrated hash browns from Costco. They're actually pretty good and ideal for camping since you just pour warm water into the container for 12 minutes before cooking.

    Fennel salt is on Amazon...https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000ROCER6

Looks like there are cheaper options, but we always get the one in the link. It is amazing on just about anything for a finishing salt.

    2013 Ford F150. Super Crew, 6.5ft bed, 5.0L V8

I bought it used in 2014 with 32,000ish kilometers on it. I sold it a little less than 18 months later with around 70,000kms on it. Thousands of dollars in warranty work, never knew if it would start, didn't trust it to get me to work nevermind out camping or fishing. Maybe a lemon, it happens. However, 3 separate dealerships and Ford corporate lied to me, tried to hide damage, tried to double charge for work, treated me and The Woman like shit and insisted that ongoing repairs were normal for a one year old truck.

I will never own a Ford again, even if they were the last automaker on earth and gave me a vehicle for free with all maintenance/repairs/upgrades/fuel paid for life.

    All reasonable choices…
But I feel like you haven’t really learned to appreciate a good vehicle until you’ve had a shitbox.

in all honesty - the older one started with a Jeep Liberty that was totaled within a week of her getting her DL. A gal turned left in front of her at 50mph and she rolled it over in the ditch after impact.

we replaced that with a 2008 Impreza hatchback manual that had been driven a lot harder than it appeared on the surface. We went through two clutches in that car (one was actually faulty and the parts were warranteed), and replaced the transmission when it grenaded (back to that driven harder than it appeared- that transmission was fucked when we bought it but didn’t come to light until the clutch went). It also didn’t help that my daughter, while noble in her desire to learn how to drive a manual, does not have the patience or attention span to do so well, but she was only a contributor to the problems.

Got it cleaned up and sold off and then put her in a 2008 Forester (automatic this time). Then her BF (at the time) lifted it, put oversized wheels/tires on it (with wheel spacers), and a massive sub in the trunk. It’s been mostly a good car though. This past summer we redid the head gaskets and timing belt, and it’s just started showing a CEL with 280k on the clock.

The younger daughter got a 2011 Impreza Sedan that was an accident magnet. Like people would hit the fucking thing parked. We had body work done on it 5 times - none of which were her fault, and four of which were parked. The final straw was when she got sideswiped by a drunk driver New Year’s Eve and it was totaled. So now she’s driving my wife’s old 2017 Forester and my wife has a newer 2021 Forester.

Eventually, I want to facilitate getting the older one into the 2017 Forester and getting the younger one into a decent Tacoma.
