My Old stomping grounds was closed when they redid the Downtown... quietly earned the Nickname " 3-beer,drink one, spill one , give the 3rd away"

I never paid for more than a single beer any night....Bar Keep & bar maids took good care of me

 

I also fix a lot of their refrigeration equipment, shift drink!!! Haha one time the tender gave me her shift drink too, well sure!!!

 

Just woke up. How you doing this shift?

 

Ice fishing was brutal. -2⁰ from the time we got there around 10 AM, and temp peaked at 4⁰.

Anyway, stayed out until I was froze at about 8 PM. Even with a heater in the ice hut. Hauled a sled up the road/ramp to the parking area. Roughly 70 yards up what is usually a boat ramp. Froze worse on that walk. Loading the sled I used my inner thigh to push the last bit up into the bed. I was so numb I thought nothing of it, but now I've got a welted bruise about 3.5 inches (TWSS) across my thigh.

My face feels sunburned, so it's that or cold exposure. I drove for 40 minutes with the taco's heat maxed and the heated seat on its highest setting, and my legs were still half numb. I need better gear to do this stuff.

Meeting up in 2.5 hours to go out again, but I feel like hammered dog shit, so I'll probably just play taxi/haul gear this time. I don't think two days of exposure to that level of cold would be wise.

 

Dang man, you're a glutton for punishment!

 

Not bad for my first night on, pretty quiet. 3 hours left

There were no fish until after I packed it in. If my buddy sends me the pic of the one fish, I'll share. Otherwise it was just snow covered ice.

 

My easy night took a turn, high level alarm in our powerhouse sump room.
Nothing works in auto but luckily the pumps run in manual, while I troubleshoot.

 

Ew. I hope it all goes better! Hate the last minute catastrophes.

 

I called it early last night, and while I was pulling out of the parking area my buddy's FIL pulled up a nice Ling. Only one of the whole day. Couple 20 oz Gatorades for scale.

 

Got to game last night (my stress reliever) and then slept for 8 hours. Oh man I feel great. Now for some garage cleaning and general laziness.

Yeah, but they are metric snowballs so we get confused.
