Hope that clarifies just how much disdain I have for those 3 bands. They are below nickelback.

    Band
    Cocker
    Mountain
    Tull
    Aerosmith

Classic rock is good, too. Not all of it, but lots of it.

I must be old, I've only heard of a couple of these.

Well, I may be old, but I got to see some of these and enjoyed them all. By the way, you forgot ZZ Top.

I agree with pretty much all of those.

You forgot Nickelback, Oasis and most 80s rock bands, including Def Leppard and Motley Crue.

Don't get me wrong, I hate grunge. But Nirvana is actually the least bad of the bunch.

Last time I was camping in Cottonwood we drove up to Jerome and went to Maynard's (Tool's lead singer for those who don't know) wine shop. I bought a bottle and he happened to be there at the time. Real quiet guy and shorter than I expected.

Without going into any specifics whatsoever, word on the street is that there will be a limited time run of a variation of a product that a certain member of the forums is rather partial to.

Yep, I was not trying to do a full inclusive list, just grabbed some off the top of my head.
    Because I played a harp with a few bands I got really fond of the blues too;
    Muddy water
    Howling wolf
    Mayall
    Most recently, Johnny Lang

most people don’t realize how much the American blues inspired the Stones

I'd take silence (which requires I listen to the roaring jet engines of tinnitus in my head) over either.

Johnny Lang is the real deal.

Went to a Joe Bonamassa concert once. It's like listening to blues that have been dunked in rubbing alcohol. It's the right notes, but it's not the blues.

    I like Nickelback:anonymous:

About the only music I won't listen to is rap/hip hop or opera. With my truck Ipod on shuffle I might hear OCMS followed by Disturbed followed by 70s Alice Cooper followed by Toby Keith followed by Vanessa Mae......

Any time I go for a ride and listen to music it's an extreme mixed bag. Not uncommon to go from System of a Down to Jewell to Ozzy to Five Finger Death Punch to Waylon Jennings.
