Yeah. It's definitely a different form of creative writing. I found a yootoob channel "TheVolgun" who does readings of the SCPs. They're like nice little audio books for me on nights.

 

I'd love to have one of those vintage trucks someday. Would be fun as a commuter instead of my beast of a truck everyday.

I heard of bring a trailer a while ago and is a huge time suck. Whenever I am cruising craigslist, I typically pop over there and waste some more time too.

 

Back from Hong Kong. Got a front row seat on the Struggle Bus this morning. Going west is easy, but coming back sux.

Will post some pics when I have time to pull them off my work phone. Had an amazing trip other than all the Covid testing. Daily rapid tests and govt reporting before leaving the hotel room. Three PCR tests and had to track where we went in a tracing app.

It all works out. Travel on weekends isn’t paid, nor is travel time beyond a normal 8 hours if traveling during the week. So my 24hr trip over and 25 hour trip back, both on a Saturday, were “free”. I do get business class on international trips and usually stay in 4-5 star hotels with decent food, so it works out.

Friendly tip to avoid this in future, do what my Mom did. Whoever throws up has to clean it up. Nothing inspires kids to make it to the toilet like knowing they'll have to clean it up! I think she started us on that policy around age 4 or 5. We all started making it to the toilet.

Gross! If somebody hurls around me, I'm booking it for a toilet to heave. See recommendation above.

Do you get to have fun/free time when you travel? Might be ok if you get to have a mini vacation on the trip.

Still waiting on the Taco. Best case was going to be a Black Friday pickup anyway, but not sire it'll be at the dealer by then.

Yup. Texas dealer that @RobertD and @Squatting Pigeon recommended. Just waiting for it to arrive so I can figure out what set of days off I'll use to make the trip. I was hoping to start the trip Wednesday morning/afternoon, but it might have to wait for one of my weeks off in December. All depends on when it gets delivered. I'm just stoked to be getting it.

 

So.... how did you find out about the whole gag reflex thing???
