My brand new 2020 was actually a grand LESS than that. That price is crazy.

I see the odd non Toyota dealer selling a tundra. Posted price is a total Hail Mary Pass. It's a joke at this point.

 

That exhaust sure is custom. I wonder if they have it leaning and protruding so much on the driver's side to offset the driver's side lean? Because custom.

 

Don’t blame the dealer. Blame the buyer who have been stupid enough to pay that. A seller can advertise it for whatever they want. It’s only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

 

Or just have no idea what you're doing; I met a guy a car show last June who had a lowered GMC Canyon...

He screwed up something with the truck's electrical system, and it now thinks it's got about 800K miles on it; It had a little over 100K on it before this happened!

Not sure I get your meaning. Are you saying that Charlie is trying to advertise or sell something? If that's the case, you should go read up on his other threads. He isn't selling anything, and just shares what he finds because he loves Toyotas.

 

Maybe it's one of those package things from the Gulf States distributor or something? You know, like the TSS package that they advertise like it's a trim. It's not an official/corporate Toyota trim as far as I'm aware.

There's only one question; Is a Tundra XP a regional thing or nationwide? I vaguely remember seeing a used one at a Chevy dealer years ago, but I thought it was just aftermarket emblems, and I'm pretty sure it was a 2nd Gen...

 

It’s a south eastern dealer add on from what I know. It spans across many Toyota models. They’re other variety’s also. “tss”, “xs-p”, “xp” etc

 

I believe I saw a white 2nd Gen XS-P on the used lot at Fred Beans Chevrolet back in like 2018; It was a double cab and it had ugly aftermarket wheels, but it was a very nice truck otherwise...

I love Tundras, and I would to love own one someday, but Tacomas and the pre-Tacoma trucks are primary area of experience more than Tundras; I was also always of the assumption that 2009 and newer Tundras with the SR5 trim and above came standard with backup cameras. I have seen 2009-2011ish Tundras with the SR5 and Rock Warrior trims without them; I do believe it was possible to get dealer-installed backup camera in 2008...?

 

Idk bro, I had an XP Tacoma. So XP isn’t new, or Tundra only.

It’s a south east Toyota distribution package add on. I have a 18’ crewmax SR5 with their ‘rockstar’ xp package.
it came with the xd811 rockstars, exhaust tip, side steps, bed liner and badging. They have other packages to, i.e., xp gunner, xp mammoth, etc.
