That's a very nice addition. Always like these cars, power to weight ratio made them a lot of fun. Congrats!

Nice Chevy Truck. How fortunate you are to be able to drive Pops around in it. I am sure it makes his day everytime.

Very nice 1972 Corvette! If I am mistaken it's got a 454 cu. in. big block under the hood. Was the car equipped with a Turbo 400 trans or a muncie 4 speed car?

This was the last year of the chrome front and rear bumper Corvettes... in 1973 the front rubber bumper was introduced and then in 74 the rear as well. I had a 1971 LT1 convertible with a luggage rack. We had multiple Top Flight awards from NCRS including regional meets as well. Another one of those cars I should have kept. :(

Well here I am. I was over in New members and posted some photos of my other rides and one in particular my '67 El Camino where I will need a dependable truck to haul parts and hopefully get a trailer to tow the frame and body around to a shop and a friends place to do some major surgery to the frame. My '87 Suburban is tired and can't haul the way she use to. G3ardnut invited me over: he said - "Please post more pictures of your car collection over at this link"
My project photos of my '56 GMC, '68 Pontiac Tempest wagon and '67 El Camino

So I got my truck I will post more photos of it in New Members. I got a 2016 Toy Tundra CrewMax SR5 5.7L with 79K Miles on it.

BTW I forgot to mention, I checked out everyone's rides on Tundra Lover's classic rides, MAN WHAT A SHOT IN THE ARM THAT WAS !! Sometimes the daily grind of life you put your projects on the back burner and get a little discouraged coz you got stuff to do that has nothing to do with the garage. Thanks for the invite and lighting a fire under my Butt to get back to work on my El Co.

I am busy out of necessity, hahaha I could never afford what shops charge to do metal work and paint. I'm a retired mechanic. I am some what delusional, I have a mig-welder and a plasma cutter and it makes feel like I can do anything now.
Now I'm making tables and desk and BBQ /Grill Smokers. I know it sounds morbid but I'll be surprised if I live long enough to finish the El Camino. "Man makes plans and God Laughs"

Whatever this forum told me to do
My son made the mistake of asking me, after we just did leg day, if there was anything left to do....

    why yes, yes there is.....

    so he changed the oil.

The oil only had about 100 miles on it....but when the elec. choke got stuck on the Carb it was running damn rich. oil smelled like gas.

    all better now.

1965 F100 that has been in my family most of its life.

I put in a fuel injected(fitech) 429 with ZF5 transmission, Crown Vic front end, 4 link with coil overs in rear, narrowed explorer 8.8” rear end, and 4 wheel disc brakes a few years ago. It is the original paint.

I dropped the ‘34 off at the shop

I think I broke a motor mount and the new a/c must have a leak- getting that fixed

The motor mount broke whilst I was acting a fool. The motor was hitting on all 8.

once that settles taking it to lake Conroe house for evening cruises. A shop their is willing to put a Holley sniper EFI on it.
