Kinda silly seeing people call it a level when they lift the back as well.

the gen 3 may come with a rake, but it honestly looks pretty level when stock, id go with the smallest front puck, but thats my taste i know some guys life higher

I just did a 2" Dobinson IMS coilover in front and 1" ims with springs in the back. Also put 18x9 rims and 295/70/18 Toyo at3's. Ride is stiffer but better. Stock ride was too "soft and squishy for me. I love the Dobinson ride.

Hmm. I’m not seeing the higher front with my ReadyLift 2” kit. Maybe I should measure. And as far a ride quality, I think it’s awesome and equal to or better than stock. My perception though. I just spent 6 years in a rough as hell Chevy so anything is better than that.

This week I picked up a 2024 1794 with TRD Off Road. I have some Rough Country M1 Adjustable Struts I am having installed on Monday. These come set to 2" but it is clear that they should at least be lowered to 1.75" and now I am starting to wonder if I should go with 1.5" to be on the safe side because I absolutely do not want the front higher at all.

A lot of people have gone with the RC 1.75 spacer level and that seems to be hit or miss with whether the front ends up higher. I am hoping the M1 struts are more accurate at 1.75. I don't want them to have to pull the struts back off to lower again and I don't want to add a spacer in the rear.

I think the 1.75 is a good start but without the air rear suspension, you will see a drop in the back with any sort of load. That's what I found so I added the 1" rear to prop it up a bit. I have about 300 lbs give or take in and on the bed and this gives it a good stance. With the trailer it sits pretty level as well.

I also found that the TRD OR setup seemed to really improve when the put the rear spacers in. My only guess is that the rears needed a bit more room to move but it sure has made the rear more compliant and more enjoyable to drive.

This was taken right after I got the front kit installed. I have a 70lbs cover and empty bed.IMG_7617.jpg

This one was taken after adding the rear spacer and now I have RCI Skids, DB Cover, Thule, Yakimas, Running Boards and 200 lbs of camping gear in the bed. It doesn't take much to compress the springs.

Damnit now you have me wondering if I need a 1" spacer in the rear!:)
I will only be hauling things sporadically, most of the time the only load in the bed will be the BakFlip Mx4 getting installed Monday as well.

The good part is rear spacers are easy to add afterwards. if you find the nose is up too high. I expect that your 1794 doesn't have the rear air system if it has the TRD OR setup. Then spacers would be a good addition for the rear.

Yep, no air bags on the TRD. Thanks for the info! This is my first truck so I am relying heavily on research from this forum.

I went with a 1.5in front level as I wanted to keep a little bit of rake. Back sits around 3/8in higher when empty (had 3-400lbs in it the other day, measured & front/back were dead level). I found this video very helpful when deciding on which kit I wanted: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0L3bMDRVSx4

A little over 79” to the top of the shark fin. Note that I now have 295’s on it so those are bigger than the 275’s I had earlier.

Can anyone tell just by looking at this picture what type/size spacer was used for this front end lift. Took a picture of the same truck as mine in a parking lot today and I waited a bit for the owner to show up but it was taking too long.

If I had to guess I would say 1" spacer providing approx 2" of lift.

That looks like the RC 1.75" The holes are offset from each other and it is made of black plastic/poly material. Some other ones are made of machined aluminum but this looks to be the plastic version.

These are the same as the ones I have.

You can see the bag of plated hardware that rusts in no time :) The 1.75 is plastic of some sort.

@PBNB Yup, looks like RC's, thank you. How do you like yours? Did you install it yourself? Any issues with handling or tire wear? I assume had a wheel alignment after the install?
