Tundra engine recall - interesting news

Thanks for going a couple of clicks down and trying to get to the root of it. It's going to be hard to tease apart fact of recall impact vs a used car salesman laying off a shitty trade in value on that. The market will figure it out and it will be interesting to read what you sort through.

Maybe if we all send tips to Toyota they will extend the warranty of the replacement motor from 1 year/12k miles to lifetime coverage.

Hybrid owners, if your motor blows throw some tip money to the service department to get a long block over a short block as well.

I know they are working on it. I’ve speculated it will be a 2026 model. That’s my speculation and as @Breathing Borla knows I’m running out of beer to pay for my misses.
