Yeh I guess there is some difference, I dont think it is noticeable myself, I drove my 08 for 15 years and I’m for some reason more comfortable in the ‘23, at least it feels that way, but your right on the 08 vs the 23 in some cases.

    2008 Toyota Tundra Double Cab
According to Edmunds and Kelley Blue Book, here are the interior dimensions:

    Front Row (Double Cab):
    • Headroom: 40.2 in
    • Legroom: 42.5 in
    • Shoulder Room: 66.6 in
    Rear Row (Double Cab):
    • Headroom: 38.7 in
    • Legroom: 34.7 in
    • Shoulder Room: 65.7 in
    2023 Toyota Tundra Limited CrewMax
For the 2023 CrewMax (Limited trim), sources indicate:

    Front Row (CrewMax):
    • Headroom: 41.0 in
    • Legroom: 41.2 in
    • Shoulder Room: 65.0 in
    Rear Row (CrewMax):
    • Headroom: 38.5 in
    • Legroom: 41.6 in
    • Shoulder Room: 62.4 in

The 2008 Tundra provides a slightly wider seat area—about 0.4 inches more in hip/seat width compared to the 2023 model. It certainly doesn’t feel that way to me. Again I’ve driven my 23 91K miles so far. Of course I was in a double cab then vs a crew max now.

Had fold out arm rests on each seat side and most had the seatbelt integrated in the seat.

If you did fold down the armrests it was a really wide seat
