I'd avoid it, but I think a few on here have something similar. Maybe they'll chime in.

It's fine. I installed a 5 inch Tuff Country on a 2002 with no issues. It's still on the road today..

There are two versions of this kit. One with a spindle spacer should be avoided. The nicer version with a replacement spindle is not bad.

I was thinking about doing just a icon stage 2 3” lift, with front and rear bump stops, diff drop, and like a 2” body lift, icon uniball uca, then maybe change the shocks if there’s better shocks than icon

I believe the 4.5" does not come with the heavier spindles, the extra .5" warrants the spindles, ha.
I opted for the 5" (with the spindles) about 8 years ago and have had no issues. I mainly use my truck for hunting, fishing, trail riding and 4x4ing. Gets beaten up. Fits 33x12.5 with 1.25" spacer on the stock toyota rim back spacing
Forgot to mention, 2001 access cab

Hard for me to recommend anything man. We all have different wants and needs and budgets. I know if I wanted to do 35's I would need alot of trimming. Or more back spacing, which would be the easier fix. Which I think would have to be done anyways.
I have since put on spc upper control arms, which gained more articulation, but wouldn't help with fittings 35's.
