I called them last week and left a message but they never called me back. I may try again.

    Edit....I emailed them on Friday.

I'm beginning to wonder if the truck setup (lift, level, etc) is what is causing the hit and miss with the AJT bracket. After 18 miles, no issues with mine yet. I am usingnthe "B" version that is on his site. I am level with a 4/2 lift. I didn't see any of the washer videos when I searched but they could be helpful to others.

What grill do you have? That could be part of the issue. No issues with my AJT so far.

Ok ajt bracket installed with no luck. Still have the pre collision malfunction ⚠️. Could it be an angle issue? My truck is leveled. Any help before I call the dealership would be appreciated. Thanks

Gotcha. Have you driven it with the cover off yet? I started the other thread and tagged quite a few guys in so that we can all try to figure this out.

No problem at all. So the errors went away after you pulled the cover? Let me know how you mill it down and how it works out.

I would double check all of your connectors. Do the errors come on as soon as you start it or not until you are actually moving? And is the AJT seating fully against the brace and using the factory drilled hole? Just trying to think of anything that I can to help.

Yes immediately when I start the truck. I double checked the connection. I’ll check to make sure it’s seated properly tomorrow. Thanks again

Definitely double check those connectors. The only time I ever had that error was when I had the the stock grill off a while back and forgot to plug it back in.

I’ll try again. Hopefully it’s something dumb. But it sure is driving me crazy. I’ve even thought about putting my stock grill back on to see if it goes away

YeaH it definitely sounds like 1 of the 2 connectors. I would separate both and then repeat them making sure that they click into place.

Checked all the connections again. Put a dab of di electric grease in the connectors. And still the ⚠️. I believe it has beaten me. Guess I’m going to the dealership.

You have the malfunction error as soon as you start the truck. I have had the clean sensor error a couple of times.

No. It intermittently works, typically has the 'clean sensor' message soon after driving

I'd like to figure it out, as I believe it is a good system. I think the angle has something to do with it. I had my machinist buddy flycut the cover to reduce thickness and it didn't seem to change anything

I installed mine and I was good initially. After I accumulated about 30 miles, the clean sensor light came on. I racked up about another 100 miles before it came on again. Yesterday I was on a flat bridge and turned radar cruise on. After a couple hundred feet, it kicked off and said PCS was unavailable. Definitely a finicky system. I think the AJT has the sensor sitting at the same angle as stock, but not positive. How much did he shave off of the cover? @Travis g even tried his with the cover off, but he has a different error.

I gave up. I put my factory grill back on. And now everything works as it should. Dealership wanted $400 to try to realign the sensor and it was a 50/50 shot. So I’m going to look at a tundra pro grill now

Which Pro grille? The new style has the sensor mounted in the bottom of it with the garnish that is another $300 on top of the grille. The ebay garnish is hit and miss.

Was the mounting angle of the sensor different between the AJT mount and stock grille?

It has got to be the angle of the sensor
