TSS emblem question

I have a '21 Limited with the Toyota Safety System. This truck was purchased as a wreck and I've slowly rebuilt it like new condition.

The TSS emblem sustained damage in the wreck. It looks like bunch of the clips were broken off.

This emblem is pretty spendy.

My question is:

Can I just drill some small holes in the emblem and attach it with some small, black zip ties? Will the zip ties affect the operation of the radar module that is located behind this emblem.

 

Hmm.... looks like the emblem split in half, do you have the rear half that has the attach points?

But, I get not wanting to buy an emblem. I would visually look to see how you could attach it and maybe see if some double sided tape would work. Without seeing how it mates to the surface without the back half, its hard to help. Zip ties could probably work but I'd worry about that emblem cracking once you add holes and have some tension to hold it in place, hit some pot holes and you may be emblemless. Can't hurt to try some mounting options before you buy one.
