TRUE HERO with a Tundra!

Wow! What can I say that hasn't already been said. An honorable man stepped up and did the right thing, at great peril to his own safety. Now an honorable company has stepped up to help that man. Doing the right thing is it's own reward. Toyota will reap the benefits long after this harrowing event.

We need to show that first shot up on the sites banner for a bit with like the slogan, "Not All Heroes Wear Capes... Some Drive Tundras"

 

I'm going to play the bad guy for a second.
Now I'm happy that the guy is getting a new truck from Toyota. He and his wife lost their house as well.
But here's where I have a problem.
With people pinging Toyota so much about this guy and his truck, Toyota had to give him a new truck or it would have been a PR nightmare for Toyota.

I guess that another upside to this is that the insurance money left over from paying off the loan, if there is one, can help with some of their other needs.

 

How else however would they hear of the story without people bringing attention to it?
This is how good deeds should play out.

1) People bring attention and show it matters
2) Good guy company acts quickly to see the good of the story and realize many people are right

Nice and easy.

Many companies and even others just read, say, "Good Job" and carry on their way. It wouldn't have affected them enough pro or con to matter to them if they didn't want to do anything. Toyota is fairly Global, this story is minor in the grand scheme of their operations I'd say. However they realized the gravity of it, the amazing heroism and said, "Internet people, you are right! Get this man a new truck!!! Pronto!"

 

Toyota rocks!!! But dont forget BFG and now Decked USA .... (for their support as well!!!)
