Toyota should definitely get wind of this and react accordingly! A new Tundra would be a good start.

Man I would think that some plastic parts in the engine bay melted too...And the gas tank is plastic but not sure but its probably rated for much higher temps than the other plastic parts?

That's insane. I really hope Toyota does step up and help this guy out. A true hero. :oldglory:

Just another reason to love Toyota trucks. Now we can add "withstands forest fires" to the list of badassery.

From the first pic, it looks like the antennae grommet/mount started to melt as if it was allowed one tear of blood............

    Dude is a legend.

If Toyota doesn’t get involved and the insurance doesn’t do their job I’m thinking a GoFundMe could be set up for him.

Man, this dude is top notch in my book! Anyone that risks life, limb and tundra (customized too) to get anyone out of harms way deserves the very best this world has to offer!

If there’s a go fund me account or anything set up for this guy, tag me ASAP, I’d be more than happy to contribute!

That isn't the normal white, it's a new limited color called roasted marshmallow. Undeniably the best color.

All jokes aside these fires are terrible and it's great to see someone like this. I'm in Moorpark and a lot of my coworkers got displaced, all the freeways in and out of this area are shut down. It's really crazy and started earlier than last years fires.
