Anyone seen one of these in the wild? What exactly does it include?

Dealers keep offering it, but don't seem to know any real specifics about it, and the build sheets that I'm sent are sent contradict themselves.

Are the emblems, such as "Tundra", black or chrome? Are the door handles color matched? Again, the build sheets contradict themselves, so I have no idea what to even expect.

Also, I'm not sure the purpose of the plastic on the back tailgate on some of these SR5's, is that removable, or will I have to get a whole new tailgate?

Thank you for posting, this is a great deal of help. What's your initial opinions on the trim? Is the black plastic on the tailgate removable or replaceable? Also, do the black door handles still have the hand gesture entry (for lack of better term; like with your thumb to lock/hand behind handle to unlock).

That black plastic on the tailgate does look like it can be replaced to color match in the future, and the handles do have the lock/unlock feature when the key is on you.

Awesome, thanks again. I had no idea what to even really expect. These build sheets are half way useless that I'm receiving.

No problem, every dealer I dealt with had NO idea what was included. I wasn't going to pull the trigger until I saw it.

Pretty sad state of affairs really.

Most of these dealers have no clue what they are selling, what the packages include, or what is even available. I've been straight up lied to in some regards. Whether it's Toyota's fault for not educating dealers or dealers being willfully ignorant, I don't know, but it has been a pretty disgraceful deployment of a new, highly anticipated model.

From what I gather and having dealt with multiple dealers, it's for sure Toyota's fault for not educating. Most are just doing the best they can with what they're given. Now the dealers who mark these things up and gouge hardworking folks, can go fk themselves. Excuse my french.

100% agreed, I refuse to work with any dealer with a gouging markup. Once they tell me about their "market adjustment", I just immediately say no thanks. I don't want to wait, but I will.

It’s just a “blackout” package that I believe is Gulf States Toyota specific. They had the same TSS off road package on previous Gen tundras. Just black wheels, badges, some mild (likely p rated) all terrains, and the Toyota predator tube steps for the low low price of $3,899

Yea well you're almost right. Previous TSS tundras had a chrome grille surround and chrome bumpers front and back. The TSS on these are color matched. As far as price, everyone is getting railed on these ridiculous packages.

I believe all trims have the handle touch lock/unlock. Atleast all trims have the smart key system with push button start.

It’s an EXTREMELY overpriced package from Gulf States Toyota that does not look good.

Talked to my salesman yesterday (I call him 'mine' because he's sold us our last 3 vehicles). I bought my current vehicle (2020 4WD CrewMax with SR5 Upgrade, TRD OffRoad Package, etc., Voodoo Blue) from him.

Anyways...whilst getting some service done yesterday, he flat told me "I mean, I think they're great trucks, but honestly? Given the deal you got 2 years ago, and what they're going for right now, I wouldn't buy one if I were you." LOL

That is a long term relationship salesman. He knows you will come back to him when you are ready to buy. More of a sales advisor than a salesman.

But yes, not many of them around. "My" service advisor at the dealer was let go because he did not push enough unnecessary service jobs. They tried to get him to tell clients that they need diff oil change, radiator flush... all that stuff every time they come in and he did not want to do it, which is why I kept going back to him, but then he got canned.
