The driver was Kevin Berthelot from Sothern Style Off-road. That nosedive blew the front airbag. Was a hard hit.

Love the show. Awesome if a Tundra is on the show this season. I have watched them all and a Tundra was definately not in it so far.
The thing that throws me off is that there is an Icon decal on the side. There has not been any advertising on vehicles on the show.
Kevin Berthelot from Sothern Style Off-road Has a big SSO sticker on the side of his Lexus. Wasnt on during the show. I am guessing they make your remove it.
Kinda thinking that pic is not from the show.

The last show I saw At the end they announced "Pistol Pete" has passed away. That's really to bad, I liked him as a host. RIP Pete Sohren.

yeah, that is an awesome show. my wife and I have been watching it since the beginning. for this second season, they have created new obstacles. one of them is a very steep hill climb on wet, slick rock. I don't foresee many trucks getting up that obstacle. There was already a roll over onto the roof of the truck. The driver was lucky she had a caged cab.

omg I would never bring a non-beater truck to that show anymore. The Lexus was case in point.:bananadead: It's gonna get re-totaled. He blew every airbag in that SUV!

I can't imagine taking a fairly new/nice truck like that out on that course. There are a lot of opportunities to screw things up real bad.

There is a link on the history channel website to apply:
    http://iconiccasting.com/truck-night-in-america

I would like to see and all Tundra line up. (Although the $10K prize money likely would not cover the repairs needed after :p)

Do they at least help you get fixed up to leave? Some of the trucks there are completely destroyed in round 1.

Yeah...the $10,000 seems a little weak for all the damage these trucks receive.

Looks like tomorrow's episode has a Gen3 Tundra and Raptor driven by the Kurt and Kyle Busch.

Tomorrow the Tundra will have a 3" Icon kit (seen the preview today). The preview defiantly showed different tires and a stock front bumper. I don’t see how he will make it past the swamp without a winch. One brother drives the Tundra and the other drives a Raptor.

Half the contestants leave with broken trucks. How in the hell is an unlocked tundra without 40 inch going to survive.

The course seems to get more difficult with every season, or even as the season progress, to a point where it gets ridiculous. In the beginning it was a tough course but you could get through there without totaling your truck. Just a good race with a few obstacles to slow you down or test your skill. Now it seems like just about every truck leave there totaled. I felt bad for the girl in the jeep (I think it was episode 1 or 2 of this season). She rolled it twice, and both were at courses that I think is not worth taking the risk. The guy in the Lexus also destroyed his truck and it was just going through the course; nothing crazy stupid on his part.

Yes, probably $7k after taxes. And only the winner gets it. The rest of the trucks get totaled on the way trying to get there. I still watch the show but I think they went stupid with the course.
