I just acquired a retrax bed cover. I am planning a trip this summer and wondering if anyone has figured out a way to have an alarm if someone tries to break into the bed. I was thinking about a window sensor for homes, but can't find one that works via bluetooth rather than wireless. I was also contemplating something like a bicycle alarm that just makes a loud noise when disturbed. Placing one on the tailgate and one on the cover. Does anyone have any suggestions on this?

Any alarm contact or sensor on any alarm that runs on 12vdc,and they all do,will get that job done.

Those stick on magnetic door alarms will cry out pretty loud when the magnet is disconnected. HF has them for pretty cheap too.
